Leaders United by BID Quality Achievement

New York hosted this year's BID International Quality Summit Convention, where professionals and business leaders from around the world gathered to recognize excellence and success. In particular, the convention celebrated quality in business and operations. Award winners demonstrated commitment to the criteria of the QC100 TQM Model, which helps bolster customer satisfaction and cost efficiency across all areas of operation.

Among this year's winners, Gowri Shankar Natarajan of RSN Engineering & Construction Co. Pvt. Ltd., from India, received the International Quality Summit Award in the Gold Category at the BID Quality Convention in New York. The organization has made huge strides this year as a leader not only within its sector, but also in India. Ltd. won the International Quality Summit Award in the Gold category in New York in the presence of leaders and representatives from 53 countries at the International Quality Summit Convention. Unidad de Investigación Financiera, from El Salvador. The Financial Investigation Unit (FIU) of the Republic of El Salvador was created as a primary office attached to the Attorney General of the Republic to combat money laundering. The FIU plays an important role in enforcing financial laws and maintaining the integrity and legality of foreign investments made in the country.

Al-Ghazi Tractors Ltd, from Pakistan. A tractor manufacturer operating with the technological collaboration of CNH-Case New Holland, the number one manufacturer of agricultural tractors in the world. The company reported sales of US$86.14 million for the year ending December, 2014.

Albanian Post Sh.a., from Albania. The Albanian postal system, with approximately 531 postal offices around the country, is being modernized by Alba Post through the reconstruction of buildings, the computerization of services, the provision of EMS services, and establishing a Post Bank, with recently added technology through Eurogiro.

The companies honored in New York were recognized not only for their entrepreneurial achievements, but also for their dedication to continuous improvement and innovation, key concepts of the QC100 Total Quality Management Model. Seeking to increase customer satisfaction and optimize efficiency, the model promotes an organizational culture of engagement and a proactive approach to improving processes.

BID Award for Quality

Business leaders from over 100 countries will attend the International Quality Conventions which are organized every year by Business Initiative Directions in Geneva, Frankfurt, New York, Paris and London.
